Tourists on Thailand holidays could enjoy classic guitar festival
Music lovers heading to Bangkok over the summer might like to visit this year's Asia International Guitar Festival and Competition, held over four days in June.
It may be a fantastic way to experience a range of cultures on Thailand holidays, as a host of different musicians from around the world will perform in the Siam City Hotel, situated on Si Ayuthaya Road.
Beginning on June 16th, each morning will feature a different masterclass, held by one of the visiting virtuosos. The first will be conducted by Cuba's Jorge Luis Zamora and tourists can either watch the lesson for 200 baht (£4) or take part for 500 baht.
From the second day (June 17th), a different competition will take place, where the winners receive the chance to attend one of several concerts in 2012.
Every evening at 20:00 local time, there will be a performance from one of the different troupes. Tickets for these cost 600 baht, which includes a coffee break.
