Fans of live music may be tempted to watch the World Championship Marching Show Bands in Kula Lumpur.
Held at various venues through the city, it may be the perfect activity for those on Malaysia holidays.
Over 30 bands will take part in eight days of competition, from July 23rd – 31st.
It is anticipated that in excess of 2,900 people will be taking part in the celebration, while street parades and parties are also being offered as well as the music.
The event is the largest of its kind in the world and so tourists lucky enough to be in the area when it is on can expect to see a lot of entertainment.
People who go along to it will be able to get their hands on various merchandise and mementos so that they remember the celebration.
Dr James Davos Mamit – the country's deputy minister for tourism – recently said the natural environment of the location attracts a lot of people.
