Located adjacent to the existing Legoland Malaysia complex, the global theme park brand has unveiled Asia’s first Legoland Water Park.
Situated in the southern Malaysian state of Johor and easily accessible from nearby Singapore, the Legoland Water Park is a standalone entertainment complex and can be visited in isolation or as part of a holistic negotiation of both parks.
This is currently the only Legoland Resort in the world that offers travellers such a choice. For travellers excited to visit the new park on memorable holidays to Malaysia, they can expect a fulfilling total of 20 water infused rides, all utilising the three million litres of water present at the facility.
Elsewhere worldwide, Legoland Water Parks only feature in the United States with complexes in California and Florida.
For Brits who are only familiar with Legoland water rides such as Pirates Landing at Legoland Windsor, Legoland Water Park Malaysia comprises innovative rides such as the Build-A-Raft River which allows visitors to construct their own raft – of Lego of course – while then floating along a lazy river course.
Elsewhere, the Joker Soaker allows young ones to bask in the excitement of spraying friends (or enemies) with water cannons but the park is aimed at offering an overall fun experience for the family.
General manager of Legoland Malaysia, Siegfried Boerst said “We are delighted to be opening the water park. It adds a whole new dimension to the Legoland Malaysia experience.
“Legoland Malaysia Resort has more than 70 rides, slides, shows and attractions in total. It is a unique holiday destination for the whole family to enjoy.”
