The Malaysian coastal resort of Port Dickson, located some 90 km from the capital Kuala Lumpur is set to be buoyed by the unveiling of a new family friendly hotel.
The 300-room Best Western Prima Inland Sea resort is huge in scale spanning nine hectares of grounds with a dedicated man-made beach – the largest in Malaysia, and is arguably the unique selling point of this new retreat, ideal for family holidays to Malaysia.
Supplementing the man-made beach are five Olympic-sized swimming pools with heavy emphasis placed on the child’s holiday experience with designated waterslides, pirate ships, whirlpools and waterfalls particularly appealing to kids.
There are amenities for parents to enjoy too with a fitness centre, steam room, open air theatre and karaoke room all located on-site – so holidays may be based all in one location if families are so inclined.
Best Western’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia & the Middle East, Glenn de Souza said “With such an incredible array of facilities and its location close to Kuala Lumpur, Best Western Prima Inland Sea Resort is the perfect destination for family getaways and corporate retreats.
“We are confident Best Western Prima Inland Sea Resort will become one of our most popular Asian properties.”
Port Dickson is a popular coastal retreat amongst Malaysian natives and now with the establishment of a new hotel, the national tourist board will be hoping a positive experience will mean more return trips to the South East Asian nation.
The latest development represents the sixth Best Western branded hotel to be located in Malaysia and the US-headquartered company has plans to add six more locations in the country in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Melaka, Shah Alam, Petalingjaya and Port Klang.
