French luxury hotel chain to open new Bali resort

Future holidays to Bali may comprise a stay at the new Nusa Dua Beach Resort – the latest development in French luxury hotel chain, Sofitel’s network that is managed by the Accor group.

Scheduled to be unveiled in September 2013, visitors will be treated to lavish accommodation that combines the company’s signature French influence with the spirit of local Indonesian tradition, making for a memorable experience in one of the world’s stellar travel destinations.

The development is huge in scale after 7.8 hectares of land was designated for the construction of the hotel that will boast 415 rooms and 17 private villas catering for a wide range of fine tastes.

The best time to visit Bali is between April and September due to the region possessing a tropical climate and guests will feel like royalty as the Nusa Dua Beach Resort resides right on the beach in one of Bali’s most affluent districts.

Senior vice president of Sofitel Asia Pacific, Markland Blaiklock said “Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort will be an important addition to the island’s growing portfolio of luxury hotels providing guests with perfect service known as cousu main – French for tailor-made service designed to provide travellers with a unique experience.”

Nusa Dua Beach will become the 12th Sofitel hotel in the Asia Pacific region and the chain also boasts resorts in revered travel hotspots worldwide such as Paris, New York, Rio de Janeiro and Dubai.

“The addition of this property is also part of our overall strategy to have at least 150 hotels in operation by 2015 in key capital cities and major tourist destinations around the world,” Blaiklock continued.
